This social project aims to empower the community of Seputih Village, Jember Regency, by developing household craft production using loofah from the oyong/gambas plant. The background of this project is rooted in the high level of seasonal unemployment due to the community's dependence on the tobacco sector and the increasing plastic waste that pollutes the environment. By training housewives and village communities to process loofah into high-value products, this project aims to create sustainable job opportunities while reducing the environmental impact of single-use plastics.
